Reviews

As with Woods' first book "Grant Me Timely Grace", I could easily envision this book on the big screen. In fact, it was hard not to feel like I was watching a movie as I read it. It just flowed along with enough detail to 'see' it all unfolding. I was on the edge of my seat a few times. If you're looking for something fun, edgy, with lots of laughs and a bit of sarcasm and cynicism - don't let this one get away!

In Grant Me Timely Grace, Timothy Woods does a nice job of evoking a peculiar time in U.S. history--June 1863. It was a time when most people just assumed that the Confederacy would win the war.

This book is a real page-turner...don't read it during the middle of the work week.

DR MC
Author Tim Woods puts an imaginative twist on the detective novel. The high-concept of a writer's fictional character coming to life is a clever premise for a book and Woods exacts all the drama inherent in such a concept. Woods' background as a psychotherapist is evident as he gets inside the mind of his female protagonist. Highly recommended.
